too much protein?

    too much protein?

    can you get to much protein while dieting?  i'm eating mainly fruits, veggies, and healthy protein - staying within my calorie and fat range, but sometimes going over in protien.  like last night.  my fat and cals were fine - but i had high protein fish, so i was over by a lot! (like 40g).  do you think that will affect my weight loss?  help!!

    My new favorite is quinoa - it's a grain, it's nutty and tasty, has very high protein and good fiber. I've hidden it in lots of things, and made salads, etc. out of it.

    I have never had a problem losing weight while eating a lot of protein.  I think as long as you are sticking with the lean proteins and are within your calorie range you'll be fine.  of course, every body is different, but that's my experience :)
