How do I add a food to my Food Log?
To add a food to your log you must either search for the food using the Search page, Browse by Category page, or the Restaurant page. You can also do an immediate search by typing a food into the searchbox at the top of your Food Log page and clicking the search button.
If you can't find the food on the FoodsDatabase website you can create your own food using the Create A Food page. The food is then permenantly stored in your Pantry for future use.
How do I add a food to a day other than Today?
To add a food to a different day all you need to do is click on the current date. A drop-down calendar will appear and you can select the day you wish to add this food to.

Why do the totals on my Food Log Report not add up correctly?
You may notice what seem to be miscalculations in the Meal Total and Daily Total rows of your Food Log printout. These are not errors, but instead are an unfortunate side-effect of rounding.
For example, consider two foods whose total fat are 4.4 and 1.4. When displayed on the printout, their values would be 4 and 1, respectively. You would expect to see the totals row showing 5, right? Well, not exactly. You see, the totals row adds the numbers together before they are rounded. Therefore, 4.4 + 1.4 = 5.8, which, when rounded, would be a 6!
